Of particular relevance to duty holders, it will also be of interest and practical help primarily to engineers (including those involved in design, construction, operation or maintenance of electrical systems and equipment), technicians and their managers.

The Mines Regulations 2014 came into force on 6 April 2015 and revoked regulations 17 to 28 and Schedule 1 of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 which previously applied only at mines.
